Buddhism according to Islam Perspective

Islam is believed to have begun during the after death of Jesus Christ by prophet Mohamed. During Mohamed’s time people used to worship Idols and heavenly objects like the moon. The prophet arose claiming to have received divine intervention from a supernatural being that sent him to preach that there was only one living God called Allah who can’t be represented by crafts.

Buddhism was started by a young prince who embarked on a journey for knowledge on how human suffering can end. Buddha teaches that when man follows teachings then considering him to be linked to a supernatural being will receive eternal life.

Buddhism according to Islam Perspective

These practices are opposed by Muslims because they use images of buddhas while Islam is against every use of art that portrays creatures created by Allah. Islam also believes Mohamed to be the real messenger of God, which Muslims follow strictly. They also believe their God to be the one true God, hence Muslims are completely against the idea of Buddha being a supreme being. Muslims believe that their prophet’s messages are to be followed and not from anybody else. According to their belief and customs Muslims don’t support Buddhism.
